I love using natural materials in my programme and try to incorporate them across all learning areas.
Here are TEN sensational ways to use sticks to enhance the learning experience.     

1. Making letters with STICKS

  2. Just spending some time perusing your blog after following a link here to check out your Letter Recognition activity. What a wonderful collection of ideas of things to do with sticks, so many more than I would have thought of. Can't wait til the snow is gone so we can find some sticks.

  4. Oh wow. This is so clever. I love the alphabet sticks and the fairy sticks. I have also seen a few gumnuts around lately, so we might collect a few and start creating. Great ideas. Thanks.

  7. Okay I am loving the sticks and spiders! I love when kinder sets up those little dinosaur gardens in sand with sticks and things. I always want to stop and play there! Some really cute ideas here.
